Property Managers and Landlords
As a property management company, it is your main concern to look after the welfare of the landlords’ property. We understand your desire to sustain the quality of your property and want to partner with you to improve its energy efficiency as well.
The Home Energy Upgrade Program, sponsored by PG&E, allows homeowners and landlords in California to receive up to $6,500 in rebates for single-family and multi-family dwelling units, up to 4 units. This means that if a landlord owns a 4-unit complex, he is entitled to receive up to $26,000 in rebates for making qualifying energy upgrade measures to their property. We want to encourage them to take advantage of this program and upgrade as many units as they can. In addition, there is no limit to the number of properties that one landlord can upgrade and thus be eligible for a rebate.
This energy-saving program has been in force for about three years and we do not know how long it will continue. PG&E has a definite amount of funds available and, once the funds are gone, the program will end; so time is of the essence.
The following is a list of the qualifying energy-efficient upgrade measures that are available for homeowners and landlords:
Exterior Wall Insulation
High Efficient Furnace
High Efficient Air Conditioning Unit
High Efficient Windows
High Efficient Water Heaters
This program not only increases the energy efficiency of your property, but also leads to its cleanliness and long-term maintenance. Moreover, it contributes to the overall health and safety of the occupants and tenants through improved indoor air quality.
As a certified participating contractor with PG&E, we are authorized to have one of our certified building performance analysts perform a complimentary energy consultation on the properties to determine the energy upgrade measures that they qualify for. After doing so, we will present you and the landlord with a proposal outlining all the qualifying measures, the costs to perform each upgrade, and the rebate associated with it.
As a general contractor, we are your one-stop shop! From performing the energy assessment to making thorough renovations on the property and submitting all the necessary paperwork to obtain the rebate, we do it all. We respect your time by dealing with both the tenants and PG&E ourselves, and making sure your landlord gets the rebate check delivered straight to his home.
If you would like to meet with us, to further discuss how you would like to proceed. We take pride in providing you with the most cost-efficient service that will greatly benefit you in terms of time, money, and the quality of your property.
